As President and CEO, David provides enterprise leadership and strategic direction for Navitus to drive its continued growth. He is responsible for external relationships such as industry thought-leader engagement, media interaction, and potential and current client strategies and support. David collaborates with the executive management team to maintain Navitus’ strategic plan and to develop and direct its goals, policies and execution.
Prior to joining Navitus, David served as President of Dean Health Plan, where he led the operations and continued growth of one of the largest HMOs in the Midwest, with a network of more than 4,000 practitioners at nearly 200 primary care sites and 28 hospitals.
David has also served as Executive Vice President — Markets at Blue Shield of California, where he managed a nearly $20 billion, 4-million member non-profit health plan. He has previously held executive roles at Aetna, Coventry, Anthem and Humana, where he oversaw a health plan that included a 110-physician, multi-specialty group practice. David began his career as a CPA, providing auditing services for publicly traded hospital and insurance clients. David has held leadership positions on a number of boards, including the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Labor-Management Council and the National Conference of Christians and Jews. He earned a degree in accounting from the University of Louisville and has completed executive education at Duke University and Harvard University.
As Chief Growth Officer, Diana is accountable for business growth and expansion within markets that Navitus serves. She is a champion for customer centricity, providing leadership to further market-driven action, excellent service, and achievement of aligned goals. Her organization spans new sales and business development, proposals, marketing, implementation, client financial analysis, account management, and clinical account management.
Diana brings 30 years of experience managing accelerated business development in the health care space. Prior to joining Navitus, she served as Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Aetna and Vice President and General Manager at Blue Shield of California.
She is a former director of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Alameda County, California. Diana holds a Master of Business Administration degree in marketing from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside.
Laura joined Navitus in 2015 and manages Navitus’ specialty programs. With more than a decade of specialty pharmacy experience, she is responsible for developing and maintaining Navitus’ global specialty strategy, specialty pharmacy program client offerings, and specialty pharmacy vendor relationships.
Laura also functions as a specialty pharmacy subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders. She participates in quality initiatives, metrics development, and improving educational opportunities through her work with the Pharmacy Quality Alliance and the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy.
Prior to joining Navitus, Laura served as the Director of Specialty and Ambulatory Care Pharmacy for Compliant Pharmacy Alliance Cooperative. In that role, she developed, implemented and managed specialty pharmacy and department programs, and improved key performance indicators in patient care and business metrics. She also developed specialty and clinical training programs, including technical resources, to assist pharmacy staff in the implementation and execution of programs. She functioned as a leader for internal and external teams on various specialty projects and was solely responsible for maintaining and providing ongoing education to these stakeholders.
Laura received her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, School of Pharmacy. She is a licensed pharmacist in Nebraska and Wisconsin.
As Vice President, Pricing and Underwriting, Molly leads pricing and risk management for all products and services. She oversees the corporate underwriting function and informs all pricing commitments to ensure enterprise growth and performance.
Prior to joining Navitus, Molly served as Senior Vice President, Financial and Analytical Services for Pharmaceutical Strategies Group LLC. In that role, she assessed all financial analytics related to pharmacy benefit management (PBM) services for multiple payer markets, developed customized pricing models and tools for projecting pharmacy spend, and provided direct oversight over financial consultants and analysts.
Molly received her Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and economics from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.
Stacey Sinkula is the Chief Actuary Officer at Navitus. In this role, she provides strategic direction to existing health plan and commercial clients and is responsible for evaluating and advising on various risk-related components of sales and operations.
Stacey has more than 18 years of employer and health plan experience in actuarial and leadership roles. Most recently, she served as the Regional Vice President of Operations at Humana, supporting profitability and membership goals, creating operational accountability, and driving financial oversight cross-functionally with enterprise partners.
Stacey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and is a Fellow with the Society of Actuaries.
As Associate Director of Business Insights at Navitus Health Solutions, Ryan Schmidt, PharmD provides valuable consultation to clients and market-facing teams regarding clinical market trends and cost saving solutions. In his role, he works cross-functionally between clinical and business partners to cultivate insights and inform value-driving initiatives. His responsibilities include serving as the clinical representative on Navitus’ Data Governance Committee and championing the development of Navitus’ annual Drug Trend Report. Previously, Ryan managed Formulary Services at Navitus, where he led analyses of clinical, claims and pricing data to expand formulary offerings.
Ryan’s depth of expertise is rooted in more than 17 years of clinical and pharmacy benefit management experience. Prior to joining Navitus, Ryan was a pharmacy manager in both retail and clinical pharmacy settings. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin — Madison and is a licensed pharmacist in Wisconsin.
